CONTINUITY AND COMPLIANCE TRAINING
Southwest Corporate offers member credit unions a convenient and cost effective way to participate in training without ever leaving the credit union. Online Educational Webinars provide both audio and video capabilities simultaneously to support an interactive learning environment.
The following Compliance and Business Continuity Webinars are offered by Southwest Corporate's Operations Compliance department at no cost:
- BSA/AML Compliance - The Basics: This course will define the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, the USA PATRIOT Act, and money laundering and terrorist financing. Member due diligence will be discussed, and attendees will learn when to file required reports, such as the Currency Transaction Report and the Suspicious Activity Report. The course is designed for front-line staff, including tellers and member service representatives, and those new to anti-money laundering regulations.

- BSA/AML Compliance - Managing the BSA/AML Compliance Program: This course will cover the four pillars of a compliance program. This course will also cover the BSA/AML and OFAC risk assessment, member due diligence and trends in money laundering activities. This course is designed for compliance staff, internal auditors, and those seeking a detailed understanding of BSA/AML regulations.

- BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act: This training session provides an overview of the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC rules and regulations. Attendees will receive an overview of FFIEC guidance on BSA/OFAC Risk Assessment and Compliance Program. - Business Continuity Management: Effective business continuity planning establishes the basis for financial institutions to maintain and recover business processes when operations have been disrupted unexpectedly.
